The Alphard 40 series is the fourth generation of the large Japanese Toyota MPV, presented in 2023. It stands on the TNGA-K platform, which Toyota also uses for the Camry and the Crown, has three rows of seats and the second row in a form for carrying guests. The length exceeds five meters and the wheelbase is three meters. In Japan and in Asia the Alphard is the typical vehicle for driving clients, which has made it a popular subject among collectors.
A cast metal body, a plastic chassis and rubber tires belong to the standard of the range. This version comes in box packaging; the manufacturer issues the same vehicle on a blister as well, that is, in a transparent bubble on a cardboard card. For collectors who leave models in their original packaging that is a substantial difference: a box can be used both as a storage and a display case, a blister cannot once opened. Check the execution of the body, the wheels and any aerodynamic package on the box.
