Aber 1:16 barrel for the US .50 Browning M2 HB machine gun is a metal set with a turned barrel and photo-etched parts for models of American tanks and vehicles in 1:16 scale. It is not a kit but a detail accessory.
Responsibility details are not available.
This set contains a turned metal barrel of the American .50 caliber (12.7 mm) Browning M2 HB heavy machine gun in 1:16 scale, together with a turned and drilled cooling jacket, handles and photo-etched parts. It is not a model but a detail metal accessory that replaces the plastic imitation from the box. It is made by the Polish company Aber, a specialist in turned barrels and photo-etch. Plastic parts are not included in the package.
The .50 Browning M2 HB machine gun suits above all as a turret or anti-aircraft machine gun on American tanks, for example the Sherman and Pershing families, and on other vehicles with this armament. The combination of turned metal and photo-etch gives a faithful barrel with a drilled cooling jacket and fine controls.
Glue the metal and photo-etched parts alike with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Nip the photo-etched parts out of the fret, clean them up and bend them over an edge; degrease everything before painting and coat it with a primer for metal.
