Injection-molded plastic kit of the American muscle car Pontiac GTO of the 1964 model year in 1:24 scale from Revell. It is a two-in-one boxing, which allows the car to be built either as the factory production model or in a modified custom form. The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted, and a decal sheet and tires with sidewall lettering are usually included.
The Pontiac GTO of 1964 is often called the founder of the American muscle car class. Into the lighter mid-size Tempest LeMans body it received a big 389 cubic inch V8, available with a trio of carburetors known as Tri-Power. It became an icon of the 1960s through performance combined with an affordable price.
Glue the plastic with a thin modeling cement, sand the body back and spray it with a gloss color with a clear coat over the top for depth of finish. Contrasting shades bring the chrome parts and the interior to life; the decals and the stripes seat better on a smooth glossy surface. With a two-in-one boxing, decide in advance which variant you are building.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
