An injection-molded plastic kit of the German BMW 2002 tii sporting sedan in 1:24 scale from the Japanese manufacturer Hasegawa. The model is built from plastic parts and is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Hasegawa has issued this type in several boxings, which differ mainly in the decals, the accessories and the bumpers. Which boxing is in the package is stated on the box; the number of parts and the contents of the decal sheet are not stated here.
The BMW 2002 tii belongs to the 02 series, the compact two-door sedans that BMW built from the end of the 1960s until 1975. The letters tii denote the version with mechanical fuel injection into the 2.0-liter M10 inline four-cylinder engine; it gave about 130 hp, which made a car of that weight very lively. It drove the rear axle and had MacPherson struts at the front. The light body and the flexible engine made the 2002 tii a successful car for rallies as well as circuit racing, and the 02 series is considered the predecessor of today's 3 Series.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
