Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit in 1:24 scale from the Japanese brand Hasegawa. The box defines it as a Nissan Fairlady Z of the Z32 generation in Version R trim with a turbocharged engine and with the longer 2by2 body, that is the variant with two smaller rear seats. The White Pearl addition in the name denotes the pearl white body finish of 1998.
The Fairlady Z of the Z32 generation was built from the end of the 1980s and is the Japanese form of the model sold on export markets as the 300ZX. The turbocharged version was given the VG30DETT V6 engine of three liters with two turbochargers; on the home market its output stayed at the Japanese limit of the day of 280 hp. The 2by2 variant has a longer wheelbase and two small rear seats, while the Version R trim was among the late, more sportily tuned grades intended for Japan.
A pearl finish is built up in three steps: an opaque white base, the pearl layer and a gloss clear coat at the end. Apply the pearl evenly with an airbrush, because an overlap leaves a darker stripe that can no longer be smoothed away. The window surrounds and the decorative trim can be done with a fine brush or masking tape. Finish the interior and the engine bay before joining the body to the chassis.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
