It is a classic glue-and-paint kit, not a snap-together model. The exact contents of the package, the number of parts and the extent of the decal sheet are stated on the box.
The first-generation Camaro was built from 1967 to 1969, and the 1969 model year is usually considered the peak of the series thanks to its sharper body sides, reworked grille and more pronounced fender flares. Cars badged Yenko were converted at the Yenko Chevrolet dealership, which had them delivered with a big-block V8 of 427 cubic inches, roughly seven liters, and added its own badges, racing stripes and a hood with an air scoop. Only a few hundred were built, so today they rank among the most sought-after American sports coupes of their time.
The main attraction of a car model is a glossy body. Before painting, sand it with fine abrasive paper, remove the parting lines and apply a filler primer; only then spray the color coat in several thin layers. The racing stripes can be done either with decals from the sheet or by masking, and the second route gives a more three-dimensional result but calls for patience. Leave the chrome-plated parts on the sprue until the end of the build and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue), which does not fog the surface. The interior and engine bay deserve a dark wash to bring out the shapes; the body, on the other hand, should be polished only after the clear coat has cured.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
