The kit represents the American attack helicopter AH-1G Cobra in 1:32 scale and is accompanied by figures of American helicopter pilots from the war in Vietnam. It is an injection-molded plastic model from the maker ICM out of a modern mold. The package therefore allows not only the machine itself to be built but also a scene with its crew to be created.
The AH-1G Cobra was the first specialized American attack helicopter, and it made its mark precisely in Vietnam. It was designed as fire support for ground units, and thanks to its armament the nickname aerial artillery belonged to it. The slim fuselage with a tandem layout of the crew and a rotating nose weapon turret became an icon of helicopter service.
Use a thin modeling cement on the plastic. Finish and paint the pilot's cockpit before the fuselage is closed. The helicopter comes into its own in olive green with period markings; painting the pilot figures separately and fitting them only at the end is advisable. You will create fine wear with a wash and drybrushing.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
