Responsibility details are not available.
A 3D-printed resin set of magazines and ammunition boxes for German 2 cm anti-aircraft guns in 1:35 scale from GINGER CAT. The manufacturer gives nine pieces in the package. Unlike a set of individual rounds, these are the parts that on the real weapon lie within the crew's reach: fitted magazines, spare magazines and the sheet-metal boxes for carrying them.
An anti-aircraft position cannot be built convincingly without ammunition boxes. The 2 cm Flak was loaded from magazines that clipped on and had to be replenished continuously, so the crew always had several full and several empty ones around them. The sheet-metal boxes also give a scene regular shapes that a figure can lean against or that further equipment can be stood on, and painting easily sets a metal magazine apart from them.
3D-printed parts are small and brittle: separate them with a fine-tooth saw or with nippers and level the remains of the print supports with a fine file. They are glued with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue); solvent cement for plastic does not hold. Before painting, spray a thin coat of primer, as a heavy coat would drown the detail.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The model, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
