This is a precisely turned metal barrel of the 7.5 cm gun intended for models of the Panther Ausf.A medium tank in 1:35 scale. The accessory is made by the Polish firm Aber, which specializes in metal and photo-etched upgrades. The barrel replaces the plastic part from the base kit and brings a perfectly cylindrical surface with no mold seams, a crisply shaped muzzle and a faithfully executed muzzle brake.
The Panther was one of the most important German tanks of the Second World War. Its long high-velocity 7.5 cm barrel gave the vehicle outstanding penetration and is one of the most characteristic features of its silhouette. It is precisely the long slender barrel that is hard to mold in plastic, so a metal replacement markedly improves the impression the whole model makes.
The accessory is supplied unpainted and does not include the model itself or the glue.
