Responsibility details are not available.
A set of forty printed resin cartridges of 12.7 millimeter caliber in 1:35 scale from the Turkish brand Ginger Cat. The box gives them as .50 BMG. The manufacturer makes them by high-resolution resin printing and states that they capture exact dimensions as well as surface detail. The box gives the count of forty pieces. These are accessories for a scene, not a kit.
The 12.7 millimeter cartridge is the most widespread ammunition for heavy machine guns and has been in use from the 1920s to this day. The manufacturer recommends the set for models armed with just such a machine gun, for ammunition stores, for loading scenes and as loose ammunition scattered on a cargo bed. Scattered cases or belts of cartridges in a scene are a good way of showing that a weapon is not just decoration but that it has been worked with.
First wash the printed resin parts in warm soapy water so that the print residue disappears from the surface and the paint will hold. Cut off the supports with a saw or a cutting disc, never with nippers, which will break the resin. The manufacturer recommends applying a base before painting. Glue the parts with cyanoacrylate glue or epoxy, as cement for plastic will not hold here. A dark wash into the recesses and a drybrush on the edges will draw out the detail. Wear a respirator while sanding.
This is an accessory to a model, not a kit. The base kit, paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
