Bronco 1:35 Canadian Ram Mk.II tank is a plastic kit of a Canadian cruiser tank of the Second World War.
Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the Canadian Ram tank in the Mk.II version. The Bronco Models brand builds sets with a rich parts breakdown, so expect more subassemblies and longer work from the build. The manufacturer states neither the number of parts nor the number of marking options; check the extent of the box in the instructions.
The Ram was a Canadian tank built on an American chassis, but with a Canadian turret of its own and British armament. It came out of the need to build tanks in Canada without depending on deliveries, and in the Mk.II version the 2-pounder gun was replaced by the heavier 6-pounder. The Ram never got into action in the tank role; it was used to train British and Canadian units, and its greatest contribution was its conversion into armored personnel carriers for infantry, which proved themselves in western Europe. For a modeler it is an unusual subject, with an American chassis and a British character.
Finish the running gear before you close the hull up; on a vehicle with this suspension the running gear is complicated and once it is glued you cannot reach it. Assemble and paint the tracks separately. Training vehicles tended to be worn but without battle damage: after the base shade put chipping on the edges, dust on the underside and grease streaks around the running gear. Lay the British markings and numbers onto a gloss base.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
