The Festive Dinner on the Front Line plastic diorama set in 1:35 scale from ICM - an American field kitchen (the G7117 truck and the M1937 stove) with figures of cooks.
Responsibility details are not available.
An extensive injection-molded diorama set in 1:35 scale from the maker ICM capturing an American field kitchen of the Second World War. The package combines a model of the G7117 army truck adapted into a mobile kitchen, the M1937 field stove and a set of figures of cooks and soldiers. It is not a single model but a complete scene for building a diorama.
Supplying hot food played an important role in an army for the morale and the fighting ability of the soldiers alike. The American army used M1937 field stoves running on liquid fuel, on which it was possible to fry, stew and bake, and similar equipment was fitted into the beds of trucks turned into mobile kitchens as well. Trucks of the G7117 series were among the widespread American army vehicles.
Assemble and paint the vehicle and the kitchen equipment separately from the figures. Finish the interior and the small accessories (the dishes, the supplies) before closing the bed. Use washes and pigments for weathering the vehicle, paint the figures with a brush and finish the scene off with a base and groundwork.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
