A figure of a Sherman tank loader in 1:35 scale from the Ukrainian brand Spalah. 3D-printed resin, supplied unpainted.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is a single figure, not a set: the loader of an American tank crew from the range the manufacturer calls Best job i ever had, in 1:35 scale. The maker is the Ukrainian brand Spalah, which 3D-prints its figures from photopolymer resin. The manufacturer intends the figure to be placed on the armor of an M4A3E8 Sherman tank, so it follows the shape of the hull and suits a model as well as a diorama.
The loader was the man in a Sherman crew who passed shells to the gun, manned the coaxial machine gun and at a halt helped keep watch around the vehicle. His station was in the turret to the left of the weapon, and on the move he was often in the hatch or out on the armor. The nickname Fury, which the manufacturer uses with these figures, was made popular by a 2014 film about a tank crew.
Wash the print resin residue off the figure, cut the print supports away and sand the marks with respiratory protection. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). On resin a primer is a must. Try the fit on the armor dry before painting, as the seated pose and the hands resting have to follow the shape of the hull. The leather items and the coveralls come to life with a dark wash and a fine dry brush.
The figure is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
