Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the Soviet GAZ-69 light off-road vehicle in the 2P26 version, that is with launch rails for anti-tank guided missiles, in 1:35 scale from Bronco. It is one of the oldest self-propelled carriers of guided missiles of all and it is a very unusual subject among models.
The GAZ-69 was a Soviet light off-road vehicle of the 1950s, a counterpart of the American jeep, which was built in large numbers and exported to the whole Eastern bloc and beyond. The 2P26 version carried four launch rails with first generation anti-tank guided missiles on the bed, which are guided by hand: the gunner steered the missile all the way to the target with a controller and the signal went along a wire. The vehicle was thus very light but completely unprotected, and after a shot it had to change position quickly. For its silhouette with four rails it earned a nickname derived from the cornflower.
Finish and paint the frame, the axles and the interior of the vehicle before you close the body up. Fit the rubber tires, if they are in the package, onto the wheels dry and only after the wheels have been painted. The four rails with the missiles are a conspicuous assembly: build and paint them separately and seat them at the end, because they are easily damaged. The Soviet dark green color stands out when it is lightened on the edges after spraying and dust effects are added on the fenders and in the wheel wells.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
