Responsibility details are not available.
A 3D-printed resin set of German standard jerrycans in 1:35 scale from GINGER CAT, in the form with the Nirona 1943 mark. The manufacturer gives ten pieces in the package. The jerrycans are fixed to the hull, the fenders or the brackets of a finished model, and they serve equally well as a scenic accessory in a diorama. For this set the manufacturer gives the year 1943.
Jerrycans were something no unit on military vehicles managed without, and that is exactly why their presence decides whether a model looks like a machine in service. On a fender, on the rear of the hull or in brackets along the sides they break up the smooth surfaces of the armor and give a model its sense of scale. Resin printing has the advantage here that it holds the embossed ribs and even the small marks in the sheet metal, which an injection mold fills in.
3D-printed parts are small and brittle: separate them with a fine-tooth saw or with nippers and level the remains of the print supports with a fine file. They are glued with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue); solvent cement for plastic does not hold. Before painting, spray a thin coat of primer, as a heavy coat would drown the detail.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The model, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
