German water jerrycans 1:35, twelve pieces from Plusmodel: a printed set of twenty-liter water cans. It is not a kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
At first glance a water can looks the same as a fuel one, and that is precisely why the two had to be told apart unmistakably: the water ones carried a white cross and lettering so that nobody would pour gasoline into the field kitchen. For a modeler this is a rewarding detail, because a couple of white markings among dark cans brings a scene to life at once. The set brings twelve jerrycans made by 3D printing with crisp pressed ribs and handles. It is an accessory, not a kit.
The package contains twelve printed water cans in 1:35 scale. Holders, decals, paints and glue are not included. The parts are unpainted and have to be cut off the support structures.
Cut the parts off with a sharp scalpel and level the surfaces with a fine file; sand with respiratory protection. They are bonded with cyanoacrylate, that is with super glue. Paint the white markings only onto a finished base coat and leave them slightly irregular, because in the field they were renewed by hand. Let a dark seeping wash run into the pressed ribs, add rubbed metal on the edges with a drybrush and a deposit of dust from pigments on the lower part.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
