Responsibility details are not available.
A 3D-printed resin set of parts of the German Fusprech vehicle radio in the A40 form, in 1:35 scale from GINGER CAT. The manufacturer gives eight pieces in the package. The parts are fitted into the fighting compartment of a model of an armored car, a half-track or a light tank; it is equipment for ground vehicles, not for aircraft.
Fusprech is the period abbreviation for a German radio-telephone set that was installed in light armored vehicles, armored cars and self-propelled guns. It differed from the large radio sets in its smaller dimensions and in allowing speech instead of keying, so a crew could command on the move. The set existed in several forms designated by a letter and a year; the letters a and f appear most often. In a model with an exposed interior the radio is clearly visible, and without it the space looks unfinished.
3D-printed parts are small and brittle: separate them with a fine-tooth saw or with nippers and level the remains of the print supports with a fine file. They are glued with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue); solvent cement for plastic does not hold. Before painting, spray a thin coat of primer, as a heavy coat would drown the detail.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The model, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
