This injection-molded plastic kit in 1:35 scale from Trumpeter captures the Type 73 light cross-country vehicle of the Japan Ground Self-Defense Force (JGSDF) in its updated form. The package contains parts in light plastic on several sprues, clear parts for the glazing, photo-etched elements and soft tires. It is an unassembled kit for more advanced modelers.
The Type 73 Light Truck is a Japanese military cross-country vehicle with all-wheel drive, which serves for liaison, reconnaissance and the carriage of people and material. The updated version builds on a proven rugged concept with a removable canvas top and simple maintenance, thanks to which it proves itself in demanding terrain.
Before closing the body up, assemble and paint the chassis, the suspension and the cab interior. Use a thin modeling cement on the plastic, and an airbrush with a base primer for painting. You create dust and mud effects with washes and pigments at the end of the build.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
