It is not a vehicle kit but a separate weapon meant to be added to dioramas, vehicles and figure scenes. The 1:35 scale is the most common one for military vehicles and figures, so the model fits easily into existing projects.
The MG 42 was a German general-purpose machine gun of 7.92 mm caliber introduced during the Second World War. It was notable for its very high rate of fire and was used as a light machine gun on a bipod and as a heavy one on a mount. It was among the most feared infantry weapons of the conflict and its design influenced postwar machine gun development.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Paints, glue and figures are not included in the package.
