Mobile network antenna, 1:35 — a 3D-printed resin mobile network antenna for dioramas in 1:35 scale from GINGER CAT.
Responsibility details are not available.
A 3D-printed resin mobile network antenna in 1:35 scale from GINGER CAT. The manufacturer gives one piece in the package. It is a civilian scenic accessory that places a scene in the present; in the same sub-line the manufacturer also lists a whole base station, a satellite dish and TV antennas, so they can be combined.
Modern dioramas have one recurring problem: buildings and streets look the same as they did fifty years ago until something that did not exist back then is added to them. A mobile network antenna is exactly such an element, because the human eye places it in the present day at once. It moreover belongs on a roof or on a mast, that is high up, so it adds a vertical line and variation in height to a scene, which a small setting is always short of.
3D-printed parts are small and brittle: separate them with a fine-tooth saw or with nippers and level the remains of the print supports with a fine file. They are glued with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue); solvent cement for plastic does not hold. Before painting, spray a thin coat of primer, as a heavy coat would drown the detail.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The model, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
