Acid was transported and stored in glass carboys held in a protective basket or crate, because otherwise the vessel would break while it was handled. For a diorama builder it is an unusual and for that very reason rewarding object: in a workshop, at a battery charging point or in a chemical store it looks like something nobody else has there. The set contains five containers. It is not a kit but an accessory for a scene.
According to the manufacturer the package contains five containers in 1:35 scale. Paints and glue are not included. The parts have to be cut from the casting blocks.
First wash the castings in lukewarm soapy water so that the mold release residue disappears from the surface, otherwise the paint will not hold. Cut the casting blocks off with a saw and true the surfaces up with a file, and sand with respiratory protection. It is bonded with super glue, that is cyanoacrylate. You suggest glass by painting the vessel a translucent green or brown shade and going over the surface with gloss varnish, while leaving the protective basket or crate matte. The contrast between gloss and matte is what tells the two apart.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
