A set of small metal parts in 1:35 scale representing air system couplings, nipples and valves. It is neither a kit nor an accessory tied to a particular vehicle but a universal material for modelers who finish off the lines on trucks, tractor units, trailers and vehicles with air brakes. It is exactly these small things that set a model which merely looks like a vehicle apart from a model on which you can see how it worked.
The parts suit the connection between a tractor unit and a trailer, the lines of brake systems, compressors and air reservoirs, workshop equipment on a diorama and any scene with a vehicle under repair. Combined with wire or a thin tube they make up a whole run of lines that looks convincing even close up.
Take the small parts out with tweezers over a box, or you will not find them on the floor. Drill the holes slowly and start with a smaller diameter. Degrease the metal with alcohol and apply a primer, otherwise the paint will not hold. Imitate the hoses with thin wire or sleeving that slides into the couplings. It pays to paint before assembly and to leave a brass or steel look only where it really was.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
