A street clock 1:35 by Plusmodel: six cast parts, three of them clear, a metal rod and a fret of photo-etched parts.
Responsibility details are not available.
A clock on a post is an element that gives a scene a vertical line and at the same time a definite time of day. When it shows half past four in the morning on a diorama, the scene takes on quite a different meaning from the same scene at noon. The set is well thought out: six cast parts, three of them clear for the dial glasses, a metal rod for the post and a fret of photo-etched parts for the thin decorative pieces. It is not a kit but an accessory for a scene.
According to the manufacturer the package contains six cast parts, three of which are clear, a metal rod and a fret of photo-etched parts. Paints and glue are not included.
Wash the castings in lukewarm soapy water and cut the casting blocks off with a saw, and sand with respiratory protection. Do not sand or prime the clear parts, or you will lose their transparency, and bond them with clear PVA glue, because super glue will fog them. Degrease the photo-etched parts and prime them. Paint the dial with a fine brush or add a print of your own, and only then fit the glass. Set the post into a drilled hole in the base, otherwise the clock breaks off easily.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
