The package holds two hundred and fifty small rivets in 1:35 scale with a head one and two tenths of a millimeter across. It is neither a kit nor an accessory for one vehicle but material with which to add rows of rivets where a kit does not have them, where you have rubbed them off while sanding or where you are building a part yourself. Riveted structures are typical of older equipment, and it is exactly a regular row of heads that makes a surface come alive. Without them an area looks flat and a viewer notices, even if he cannot say why.
Pick the rivets up with a moistened tool tip or the point of a pair of tweezers and work over a box. Apply the glue to the model, not to the rivet, and in a tiny amount, otherwise it floods the shape of the head. Mark the spacing out beforehand with a fine pencil along a ruler or prick it with a needle: an irregular row of rivets shows at once on a finished model and is hard to put right.
For modelers who modify and convert kits and for builders who add detail themselves. Two hundred and fifty pieces in the package means you can afford a few failed attempts and still have material left. Plusmodel is a Czech maker of accessories and kits.
