Rivets 1.4 mm, 1:35 from Plusmodel: small rivets with a 1.4 mm head and a 1 mm shank for detailing of your own.
Responsibility details are not available.
Small rivets in 1:35 scale with a head one and four tenths of a millimeter across and a shank one millimeter in diameter. The shank matters here: the rivet can be pushed into a pre-drilled hole, so it holds firmly and sits square, which simply gluing a head on does not always achieve. It is not a kit but material for detailing and conversions of your own. It is used anywhere it should show that a part is bolted or riveted on, from armor plates to frames and girders.
Drill the holes with a one-millimeter bit and mark the spacing out along a ruler. Push the rivet in and secure it with a tiny amount of glue applied into the hole, not onto the head. Cut or sand off the excess length of the shank from behind. This larger size suits heavy equipment; on small vehicles the rivets would look disproportionately large. Before starting a whole row, try the spacing on a piece of scrap so that you know how closely the heads should sit.
For modelers who convert kits and build structures of their own, and for diorama builders. The manufacturer makes this series in several sizes, so they can be combined according to how massive a fastening a rivet is meant to represent. Plusmodel is a Czech maker of accessories and kits.
Very small parts do not belong in the hands of small children. Work on a mat and clear the leftovers away.
