An injection-molded plastic kit of a Russian three-axle off-road truck in 1:35 scale. Trumpeter released the kit in 2019 and gives roughly four hundred and fifty parts on seventeen sprues, rubber tires, photo-etched parts and brass wire with it. It is an extensive build for modelers with experience of military equipment.
The Ural-4320 is an off-road truck with drive to all three axles, built by the Ural automobile works in Miass. The machine is designed for operation away from paved roads, for long wheel travel and for resistance to frost, which made it one of the most widespread trucks of the Soviet and later the Russian army. It is used to carry troops and cargo, as a tractor and as a chassis for the widest variety of bodies.
Build and paint the frame, the axles and the drive train separately, as you will not reach the frame once the cab and the cargo bed are in place. Glue the photo-etched parts and the wire details with cyanoacrylate glue. Mask the cab glazing before spraying. The green scheme suits an airbrush; after the base color a filter helps to unify the tone, then a wash in the recesses and pigments for mud effects, mainly on the tires and in the wheel wells.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
