Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the Soviet three-axle ZiL-131 truck in its early form, with a winch, in 1:35 scale from Bronco. The box holds plastic sprues, clear parts, a photo-etched fret, a metal rod, rubber tires and a decal sheet. It is a new mold that Bronco prepared in cooperation with another model company.
The ZiL-131 was a Soviet all-wheel-drive military truck that went into production in the 1960s as a successor to the ZiL-157 type. It had a hood-forward cab, a gasoline V8 and a central tire inflation system, so it could handle even very heavy going. A wide range of conversions came out of the vehicle: flatbed, tanker, workshop, signals vehicle or rocket launcher carrier. The truck was supplied to dozens of states and can still be met in civil service today.
Finish and paint the frame, the axles and the winch before you fit the cab and the cargo body. Glue the photo-etched parts with cyanoacrylate and shape them first. Fit the rubber tires onto the rims dry, as ordinary cement for plastic will not bond them, and fit them only once the rims are painted. Soviet dark green paint comes alive if you lighten it on the edges after spraying and add dust effects on the fenders and in the wheel wells.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
