Two models of the McMillan TAC-338 sniper rifle in 1:35 scale from Spalah. 3D-printed resin, an accessory for figures.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is small armament, not a model of a vehicle: two pieces of the McMillan TAC-338 sniper rifle in 1:35 scale. The box states two pieces. The maker is the Ukrainian brand Spalah, which 3D-prints its parts from photopolymer resin. With a modern sniper rifle what counts is the outline of the stock, the rail with the scope and the bipod, that is exactly those thin, intricate features that would have to be thickened in injection-molded plastic at this scale.
The McMillan TAC-338 is an American bolt-action sniper rifle chambered for the 338 cartridge, which allows accurate fire at longer ranges than ordinary rifle calibers. It is distinctive for its heavy barrel profile, its adjustable stock and the rail for optical sights and accessories. It appears with special forces and with sniper teams.
Wash the print resin residue off the parts, cut the print supports away and sand the marks with respiratory protection. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Paint the weapon separately, off the figure and preferably with an airbrush over a primer. Pick the barrel out in a darker metallic shade than the stock and suggest a camouflage pattern on the weapon with only a few tones, so that the shape stays readable.
This is an accessory, not a kit. Figures, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
