A photo-etched detail set for the Soviet self-propelled gun SU-152 (KV-14) - vol. 2, fenders 1:35 from Aber. An additional set of photo-etched fenders for a plastic model, not a standalone model.
Responsibility details are not available.
An additional photo-etched detail set from Aber in 1:35 scale aimed at the fenders. It is not a model but a set of fine metal parts with which you replace the thick-walled plastic fenders of the kit of the Soviet self-propelled gun SU-152 with realistic thin photo-etched parts. The set follows on from the basic volume 1. The exact contents are given in the manufacturer's instructions.
The SU-152 (factory designation KV-14) was a Soviet heavy self-propelled gun of the Second World War on the chassis of the KV heavy tank with a 152 mm gun-howitzer. Wide fenders with dents are among the typical features that photo-etched material reproduces more faithfully than plastic.
Photo-etched fenders can easily be shaped and gently bowed, which gives the vehicle a realistic worn look. Separate the parts with a sharp knife, bend them over a ruler and bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Degrease the metal before painting and lay down a primer coat.
This is a standalone photo-etched accessory for experienced modelers. The model itself, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
