A set of armament and equipment of American units of the Vietnam War period in 1:35 scale. It is made up of thirteen cast parts and a fret of photo-etched parts. It is not a kit of a vehicle but an accessory: the parts are placed in the interior of a vehicle, beside figures or in a scene of a camp or a post.
A vehicle and figures on their own do not say which conflict this is. What decides are the small things: the shape of the weapons, magazines, crates, equipment leaning about. It is they that place a scene in a time and a place. They also bring to life the interior and the cargo area, which tend to be the emptiest parts of a finished model, and give a scene the impression that somebody really lives and works there.
First wash the resin parts in lukewarm soapy water and let them dry. Cut the casting blocks off and level the area, and protect your breathing while sanding. Bend the photo-etched parts over a metal rule. The metal parts of weapons look best after a dark base and a light polish, while wooden stocks look best after thin glazes. Try the arrangement dry beforehand, because weapons laid down at random look spilled rather than put aside.
