Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the American light tank M24 Chaffee from modern tooling. The model combines finely executed detail with a comfortable build: it offers turret parts with the gun mantlet, suggestions of cast surfaces and welds, fenders shaped by casting techniques and a photo-etched part for the mesh rack at the rear. The boxing also contains features of the turret interior and two half-figures of the crew.
The M24 Chaffee was an American light tank introduced at the end of the Second World War. It was armed with a 75mm gun that could deal with infantry as well as lightly armored targets, and it stood out for its good mobility. It saw service in the closing stage of the war and in postwar conflicts and became one of the most widespread light tanks of its day.
Assemble and paint the running gear and the turret interior before you close the hull. Apply the paint over a primer, best with an airbrush. The cast surfaces of the turret come out well once brought out with washes, and final dust and mud effects are created with pigments. Bend the photo-etched mesh part slowly over an edge.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
