Large wooden crates 1:35 by Plusmodel: twenty-eight resin parts for depots and load areas.
Responsibility details are not available.
A large crate is a different kind of object on a diorama from a small box: it cannot be carried in one hand, so it suggests by itself that a crane, a flatbed or at least four people were here. That gives the scene scale and action. The set contains twenty-eight resin parts from which you assemble crates for a load area, a depot or a railroad ramp. It is not a vehicle kit but an accessory.
According to the manufacturer the package contains twenty-eight resin castings. Decals, paints and glue are not included. The parts have to be cut from the casting blocks.
First wash the castings in lukewarm soapy water so that the mold release residue disappears from the surface. Cut the casting blocks off with a saw and true the surfaces up with a file, and sand with respiratory protection. It is bonded with super glue, that is cyanoacrylate. Wood comes out well if you lay thin stripes of lighter and darker paint over the base tone along the grain and unify the whole with a dark penetrating coat that flows into the joints between the boards. Large crates are often battered on the edges, so rub the corners back in a lighter shade.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
