Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic diorama set in 1:35 scale from ICM containing two German radio (signals) trucks of the Second World War in one box — the Henschel 33D1 Kfz.72 and the Krupp L3H163 Kfz.72. The box bodies served as mobile transmitting and receiving radio stations. The combination of two vehicles is ideal for building a signals post or a diorama. Check the exact package contents against the manufacturer's part number for this item.
The Henschel 33 was the most widely used three-axle truck of the Wehrmacht, and the D1 version was powered by a six-cylinder gasoline engine. The Krupp L3H163 was likewise one of the German army's three-axle trucks. Both types carried the Kfz.72 box body, which housed a powerful mobile radio station. Vehicles of this kind formed the backbone of field signals and command.
Glue the parts with liquid cement for plastic; glue the glazing carefully with cement for clear parts. Paint the chassis, the engines and the interiors of the box bodies before you close the bodies up. Apply a period German camouflage to the vehicles; after the base color, emphasize the details with a wash and add dust and mud effects with pigments. The pair of vehicles comes into its own in a linked scene with antennas and accessories.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
