1:35 Zu-23-2 Ammo Cans is a 3D-printed accessory from Lithokraft: ammunition boxes for the Soviet ZU-23-2 twin cannon. It is a detail set, not a kit of the weapon.
Responsibility details are not available.
A 3D-printed resin set in 1:35 scale. It holds the ammunition boxes for the Soviet ZU-23-2 twin anti-aircraft cannon, the prominent containers from which both guns are belt-fed. It is a detail accessory, not a kit of the weapon or of a vehicle. The boxes suit the twin cannon itself just as well as loose cargo on the bed of a pickup or a truck, or a diorama around a gun position.
The ZU-23-2 is a Soviet towed twin anti-aircraft cannon with two barrels of 23 mm caliber, introduced in 1960. It is among the most widespread weapons of its class and still turns up all over the world, often mounted on the beds of trucks and off-road pickups. Each of the two guns is belt-fed from its own ammunition box, and because the boxes hang in brackets on the sides of the carriage, they are clearly visible on a model.
Wash the parts in lukewarm soapy water. Cut the print supports off with a sharp scalpel and level the pads with a sanding sponge. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Paint the boxes a uniform green or sand according to the scene you are building, and then let them take a beating: scuffed edges with a metal pigment, handling marks with a dark wash and fine dust low down. It is the worn box that turns a static model into a weapon in use.
This is an accessory for the model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
