Responsibility details are not available.
This injection-molded plastic kit from Hobby Boss represents the Australian F-111C version, nicknamed the Pig, a tactical strike aircraft with a variable-geometry wing, in 1:48 scale. The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted and offers marking schemes for the Royal Australian Air Force.
The General Dynamics F-111 was a two-seat tactical strike aircraft with a variable-geometry wing and side-by-side seats. The Australian F-111C version was based on the F-111A but received longer wings and strengthened landing gear. With the Royal Australian Air Force it served for many decades as the main long-range strike machine, under the nickname Pig.
Build and paint the cockpit with its side-by-side seats before closing the fuselage up. Assemble the variable-geometry wing mechanism carefully. Apply a primer before painting, spray the surfaces with an airbrush in layers and lay the markings onto a gloss varnish.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
