Early engine cowlings for the B-25 B and C Mitchell 1:48 (QuickBoost) are replacement early engine cowlings with closed cooling flaps for B-25 kits in 1:48 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
Replacement parts for building the American medium bomber North American B-25 Mitchell in the B and C versions in 1:48 scale. The set replaces the early engine cowlings with the cooling flaps in the closed position, that is in the state with the engines stopped. The box gives B-25 kits from Academy, Accurate and Revell as the target kits. The QuickBoost brand belongs to the Czech maker Aires Hobby Models.
The B-25 Mitchell was a twin-engine medium bomber with a twin tail, which served on every front of the Second World War. The early B and C versions had a different shape of engine cowling and different armament from the later batches, and it was the B version in particular that went down in history in the raid on Tokyo, when the machines took off from a carrier. The engines were two Wright Cyclone radials, whose cowlings are dominant on a model.
Wash the resin parts in warm soapy water before gluing so that the mold release agent disappears from the surface, as otherwise the paint will not hold. Cut off the casting block with a saw or a cutting disc, never with nippers, which will break the resin. Sand the mating surface flat and glue the part with cyanoacrylate glue or epoxy, because cement for plastic will not hold here. When sanding resin use a respirator or sand wet; the dust is not good to breathe.
This is an accessory to a model, not a kit. The base kit, paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
