A set of cast resin wheels intended as a replacement for the plastic wheels of a model of the British Fairey Delta 2 aircraft. A resin casting has sharper detail in the tread pattern and the hubs than injected plastic, and on some sets the wheels are cast with a hint of weighting, which gives a model on the ground a realistic look. This is an accessory for models of this type, not a kit.
The Fairey Delta 2 was a British experimental delta-wing aircraft which in 1956 became the first to exceed a speed of 1000 miles per hour. It served for research into supersonic flight, and its drooping nose improved the view on landing.
First wash the mold release agent off the parts, cut off the casting blocks and clean up the surfaces. They are glued with cyanoacrylate glue. Use respiratory protection when sanding resin.
The paints, glue and model are not included in the package.
