Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the British carrier fighter Fairey Flycatcher in 1:48 scale, in the form of the early production version with the Armstrong Siddeley Jaguar III engine. The plastic parts are supplemented by resin castings that cover the detailed engine and the machine guns and by photo-etched metal. The decals offer several marking options. It is a multimedia kit for more experienced modelers.
The Fairey Flycatcher was the main fighter of British carrier aviation between the world wars and stayed in service from 1923 to 1934. It was small, agile and designed for the deck: thanks to full-span flaps it could get rolling and lift off over unusually short distances, so it took off even from short deck platforms. Its recognition marks are the slab-sided fuselage and the radial engine. The early production version had the Jaguar III engine, later machines got the Jaguar IV, so it is the engine type that tells the variants apart.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
