A set of accurate resin (3D-printed) wheels for the Soviet MiG-29 Fulcrum fighter in 1:48 scale, packaged under the Hobby 2000 brand. This is not an aircraft model but a detail accessory for a kit — replacement wheels with a faithful tire tread and a finely drawn hub that take the place of the simplified wheels from the box.
The wheels are in view the whole time on a finished model. The resin replacement brings a sharper tire profile and clean relief on the hub; often a slight flattening at the contact patch is suggested as well, which gives the model the impression of the real weight of a standing aircraft. A separate hub and tire also make painting easier.
Wash any print resin residue off the parts and separate them from the print supports; they are bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate), and sanding calls for respiratory protection. Paint the tires in a flat dark gray (not black), pick the hubs out in a different shade and unify the whole with a fine dust wash. If the wheels carry a suggestion of load, set them with the flattened patch down.
This is a resin (3D-printed) detail accessory, not an aircraft model. The MiG-29 kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
