The box gives the count of two bombs. This is an accessory of underwing stores, not a kit of an aircraft; the model, paints and glue are not included in the package.
RBK is the Soviet designation for a single-use bomb dispenser: a large bomb-shaped casing that opens in flight and scatters dozens of small submunitions. The PTAB suffix means an anti-tank submunition with a shaped charge, intended against the roofs of armored vehicles, where the armor is thinnest. A dispenser of the five hundred kilogram class carried a large number of these bomblets and was used against columns of equipment.
Bombs are painted off the model and fitted only at the end. After washing off the print resin residue, apply a thin base, then the main shade and finally a dark wash, which will draw out the seams and bolts. Do the lettering and the color bands on the body of the bomb with masking tape or a fine brush, not freehand. Under the pylons we recommend only fitting the bombs dry and checking whether they clash with the landing gear and the flaps, and gluing them only then. Do not glue printed resin with cement for plastic; it will not hold.
