1:48 Sepecat Jaguar T.2 and T.4 is a kit of the two-seat trainer version of the British and French attack aircraft from Airfix, with decals for three machines.
Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the two-seat trainer version of the Jaguar in 1:48 scale. The set follows on from the single-seat variant from the same manufacturer and brings a newly made two-seat cockpit. It contains around 245 parts, two interior versions matching the difference between the T.2 and T.4 versions, and a decal sheet for three machines. The wingspan of the finished model is roughly eighteen centimeters.
The Jaguar was created as a joint British and French project, originally intended as an advanced trainer. During development, however, it turned into a full-fledged attack machine for striking ground targets at low level. The two-seat T.2 and T.4 versions served the Royal Air Force for converting pilots onto the single-seat combat machines. The longer fuselage with the second cockpit changed the silhouette, but the capabilities of the aircraft were retained, so the two-seaters were used for operational tasks as well.
The two-seat cockpit is the most visible part, so finish it carefully and, before closing the fuselage, check that it sits under the canopy. Mask the canopy before painting and spray the frames with the interior shade first. British gray and green schemes take a fine accentuation of the panels and discreet traces of service, while pronounced wear belongs rather on the walkways and around the cockpit.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
