The resin set contains finely cast Martin Baker Mk.16 (US16T) ejection seats for the Northrop T-38C Talon supersonic trainer in 1:48 scale. Color-printed photo-etched harness straps are usually included as well. It is not an aircraft kit but an aftermarket accessory that refines the tandem cockpit.
The Northrop T-38 Talon is a two-seat supersonic trainer; the upgraded T-38C version received new avionics and a reworked cockpit. The Martin Baker Mk.16 (US16T) ejection seats are a modern type, and a faithful rendering of them markedly lifts the look of an exposed tandem cockpit.
Wash the mold release agent off the resin parts and cut off the casting blocks, with respiratory protection, and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue. Bend the photo-etched straps over a sharp edge and glue them spot by spot. The seats come into their own after airbrush painting and a fine wash.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The base model, glue, paints and other parts are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
