A plastic kit of the 37 mm anti-aircraft gun 61-K on the ZiS-42 chassis (1:72, PST) - a Soviet self-propelled anti-aircraft gun on a half-track.
Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of a Soviet self-propelled anti-aircraft gun in 1:72 scale from the manufacturer PST. It combines the automatic 37 mm 61-K gun of the 1939 pattern with the chassis of the ZiS-42 half-track truck. It is a classic kit with multi-part tracks and a separate gun assembly, intended for modelers with experience of small vehicles. Check the exact number of parts and the decal options in the instructions.
The automatic 61-K gun of 37 mm caliber was the basic Soviet anti-aircraft weapon of the Second World War. In 1942 it was installed on the chassis of the ZiS-42 half-track so that it would gain mobility with the advancing units. Only a small number of these vehicles were built and they were used among other places at Stalingrad. The gun was used against low-flying aircraft and against ground targets.
Cut the parts off the sprues and glue them with liquid cement for plastic. First assemble the running gear and the tracks carefully, and only then the body and the gun mount. A single-color protective green covers the model; you will bring the surface to life with a coat of primer, with the rivets and edges picked out by dry brushing and with final weathering, namely dust and mud pigments on the running gear. Seal the assembly with a matte varnish.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
