An injection-molded plastic kit of the legendary American Bell UH-1D helicopter, nicknamed the Huey, in 1:72 scale from Revell. The box contains plastic parts, clear glazing and a decal sheet. The model has an engraved structure, a moving main rotor and a fully fitted cabin interior.
The Bell UH-1 Iroquois is one of the best known helicopters in history. The UH-1D version is a transport and multirole machine with a lengthened cabin that takes a larger number of soldiers or cargo. The helicopter became famous for carrying air assault troops, evacuating the wounded and moving supplies, and it became a symbol of helicopter mobility. Besides the US Army it was operated in transport and rescue roles by a number of other countries, among them in Europe.
Join the plastic parts with thin modeling cement. The open cabin interior is clearly visible through the large glazing, so finish and paint it carefully before you close up the fuselage. Apply a primer before painting and spray with an airbrush. A gloss clear coat compatible with the paint will prepare a smooth base for the decals.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
