A plastic kit in 1:72 scale from the manufacturer AZ model. The boxing is aimed at the use of the Italian ground-attack aircraft in the Spanish Civil War. A masking set is included in the package as well; the exact number of parts and color schemes is not released by the manufacturer.
The Breda Ba.65 was an Italian all-metal single-engine low-wing monoplane and the only Italian ground-attack aircraft that actually saw combat in that role. The A-80 version received a more powerful air-cooled Fiat A.80 RC.41 radial engine, a two-row eighteen-cylinder of around a thousand horsepower. In Spain the aircraft flew over nineteen hundred combat sorties, hundreds of them attacks on ground targets.
Injection-molded plastic is bonded with liquid cement for polystyrene, which is drawn into the seam by capillary action. Sand off the flash before gluing and try the parts dry. Apply a primer before painting; a smooth surface comes out best with an airbrush. Decals adhere best over a gloss clear coat, and once dry they should be sealed with a matte one. Glue the clear parts with canopy glue so that they do not fog.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
