The plastic kit Heller 1:72 Breguet 693/2: the French twin-engine attack and bomber aircraft of the beginning of the Second World War.
Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the French twin-engine combat aircraft Breguet 693/2 in 1:72 scale from the traditional French manufacturer Heller. The box holds plastic parts and a decal sheet; it is a classic mold suited to modelers who collect French equipment of the Second World War.
The Breguet 690/693 was a French twin-engine multi-role aircraft used as a light attack and bomber machine. The Breguet 693 version was powered by a pair of Gnome-Rhône 14M radial engines and was committed during the Battle of France in 1940 above all to attacks on ground targets. It was a fast and well-handling aircraft, but its crews suffered heavy losses in low-level attacks. Even so it is among the interesting and less usual subjects of French aviation of that time.
Glue the parts with liquid modeling cement for plastic; with an older mold, pay attention to cleaning up the joints and to filling them if needed. Lay a base color (primer) before painting and use an airbrush, as the French mottled camouflage scheme comes out well when sprayed in layers. Bring out the panel lines and the weathering with a wash and fine pigments; the engine nacelles and the leading edges will take light wear.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
