The F-16D Block 52 is a plastic kit of the two-seat version of the F-16 fighter with the dorsal spine in 1:72 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the American fighter General Dynamics F-16D in the Block 52 form in 1:72 scale from Kinetic. The D version is two-seat, and this form has a conspicuous spine on its back behind the cockpit, in which additional equipment is housed.
The F-16 is a single-engined multirole fighter with an angular intake under the fuselage and a bubble canopy with no forward frame, which gives the pilot an exceptional field of view. The two-seat D version came about as a trainer, but with some users it also took over combat tasks that call for a second crew member. The Block 52 form is among the later and more powerful ones, and it was precisely on some of its two-seat machines that the dorsal spine for additional equipment appeared, which is unmistakable from the side.
Glue, fill and paint the engine intake duct before you close up the fuselage; on the F-16 it is long and can be seen into. The bubble canopy is the greatest adornment of this aircraft and at the same time reveals every flaw, so handle it carefully and mask it with a template rather than otherwise. The pair of cockpits has a more worked-out interior than you would expect in this scale, and it pays to give them time. The gray camouflage has two close shades with a narrow transition; spray with thinned paint and do not rush. Fit the underwing stores last.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
