The F-86A Sabre undercarriage covers in 1:72 scale are a 3D-printed resin accessory from Clear Prop Models that replaces the plastic parts with finely detailed gear bay doors.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is an aftermarket detail set, not an airplane model. The set contains 3D-printed resin covers (doors) for the landing gear bays of models of the F-86A Sabre fighter in 1:72 scale. The thin-walled print faithfully captures the lightening holes and the stiffeners on the inner face of the covers, which injection-molded plastic usually cannot render so finely.
The North American F-86 Sabre was a first-generation American swept-wing jet fighter, famous from the fighting over Korea. The F-86A version was among the first production Sabres and its slender gear doors are a conspicuous detail of the underside of the airframe.
The accessory is supplied unpainted, on its own without the base model. Glue and paints are not included in the package.
