A figure of a Ukrainian special forces soldier with the call sign Taiets in 1:72 scale from Spalah. 3D-printed resin, supplied unpainted.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is a single figure, not a set: a member of the Ukrainian special forces, whom the manufacturer identifies by the call sign Taiets, in 1:72 scale. The maker is the Ukrainian brand Spalah, which 3D-prints its figures from photopolymer resin. At this small scale printing is crucial, because it allows the helmet with its mount, the load-carrying vest and the weapon to be modeled clearly enough that the figure does not look like a crude casting on the model. Supplied unpainted.
The kit of today's special forces can be told from ordinary infantry at a glance: a modular load-carrying vest, a helmet with rails for sights and a headset, limb protection and often a combination of different camouflage patterns. It is precisely this variety that makes them a rewarding modeling subject, because a single figure can place a scene in time and place more precisely than the equipment alone.
Wash the print resin residue off the figure, cut the print supports away and sand the marks with respiratory protection. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). In 1:72 scale work with contrast, not with a large number of shades. Suggest the camouflage pattern with only a few tones, separate the kit with a dark wash, and give the face a base, a shading tone and one light high point.
The figure is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
