A plastic kit of the German Fw 190A-6 fighter in 1:72 scale from the Hobby Boss Easy Assembly line. The set has a low part count and large assemblies, so the build is quick and undemanding. The package contains a clear canopy part and decals for two color options.
The Fw 190A-6 was among the widespread subseries of the A version powered by the air-cooled BMW 801 radial engine. This subseries brought changes to the wing and the armament. The Fw 190 was regarded as a robust and well-armed fighter that complemented the Bf 109 in the ranks of the Luftwaffe on a number of fronts.
Thanks to the large parts the build is undemanding; even so, clean up the joints and fill them. Use liquid modeling cement on the plastic and apply primer before painting. The camouflage on the upper surfaces comes out well with an airbrush, and the panel lines can be brought out with a thin wash shade.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
